Global Assistance and Healthcare, a well-established international medical assistance provider to the Insurance, Oil and Gas, Mining and other corporate sector is inviting highly motivated individuals to fill in the position of:

Requirements:

S-1 degree in medical major (medical doctor)Have knowledge of medical terminologies and procedures, and pharmaceuticalsProficient in English both speaking & writingHaving min. 3 years working experience in health insurance company as an Underwriter / claims auditor for medical cases Possess analytical & problem solving skillsHaving good leadership and good capability working in a teamComputer literateStrong communication & interpersonal skillIndependent, hard worker, handy, willing to work overtime and long hours

Duties and Responsibilities:

Verify validity of medical claimsReview medical billing information for correctness and completenessReview medical billing for reasonableness of tests, procedures, hospital stays and pharmaceutical useRefer medical claims for further investigations when more information is necessary or when claims are not medically reasonableAble to understand insurance policy information
